Complex Health Guidance

In today’s world mental health is a big topic, but the way we live our every day lives makes it hard to stop to take care of ourselves and focus on what is important. We wanted to create a solution that leverages current technologies and could evolve with it’s users.

We asked ourselves, how could the overall individuals well-being be improved in the long-term by digital tools that provide personalized feedback and guidance that actually works?

(Goal)

Promote an easy to achieve health standard

With the use of Sphere, we aim to provide users a personalized range of activities, goals, actions, & plans that cater to creating their own baseline for health. We want to create a platform where they can easily interact & visualize their needs, their own journey, and the results of their work as little or as big as it can be.

(Result)

Revolutionizing the Health Landscape

We created a platform that focuses on user entries to cater their health needs. This could range from the average health metrics we should follow as humans, to improved habit creation, nutrition guidelines depending on diet & objectives, and even maintaining social health.

Age: 38

Marital Status: Married

City: Chicago

(About)

John finds solace in his bustling city, where towering skyscrapers and cultural diversity are constants in his daily routine. John's life is a delicate balance between the demands of his professional career and the warmth of his personal life. He navigates the corporate world with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.

(Objectives)

John wants to watch out for his overall health. His main motivation is keeping the bar higher than average when it comes to health so he can enjoy his later years.

(Needs)

John lacks a quick way to receive the feedback he needs when faced with health issues. These can range from back pain, to mental fatigue due to his work-life balance.

(Quote)

"Balancing work and well-being is like jamming to life's playlist. Keep your body in good shape, and you'll always hit the right notes in both your career and personal life. It's all about finding that chill vibe between hustle and health, but damn is it hard to juggle it."

(Flow Diagram)

We needed to plan how we would distribute content, sections and how the user would navigate through the whole app. We devised a flow diagram to help us visualize where each section of the app would play a part in and how they would interact with each  other. This also helped us test if users thought this was a logical process for them, and if it really did work.

This user flow follows the user through the whole journey, from sign up, to setting up an appointment with a professional. We had to think about how to group content sections, why would we group them as we thought, and if that was the best option for our users.

(Low Fidelity Wireframes)

In order to validate our assumptions, our research, and some of the activities we performed with potential users, we needed to create something that they could actually see and have a minimal interaction with.

This is the first version of our wireframes, it was aimed to only guide the user on how the navigation would work, what the idea was for the main screens, and overall structuring.

(Mid-Fidelity Wireframes)

After performing research on our low-fidelity design, we decided to step up the visuals of the wireframes. We had gotten good feedback on the project, but we needed to set a better direction which is when we started applying the branding we developed for the product.

(Branding)

We created a brand guidelines book for the product at this stage. We wanted to properly convey the objective of Sphere and communicate it visually through our product. Feel free to access the summary brandbook we designed for Sphere.

Brandbook

(High-Fidelity Wireframes)

With the high-fidelity wireframes we wanted to picture the idea and concept of Sphere better. We aimed to bring Sphere to life with it’s own personality. Leaning on our research results and the direction of the project we wanted to make the interactions feel natural and make everything seamless. We iterated two versions of the high-fidelity design, this is the latest one.

(High-Fidelity Prototype)

We created a High-Fidelity Prototype in order to validate with our potential users. We intended to make it as interactive as we could with the time we had, and make it feel as seamless as possible. We are proud of the last version we designed for Sphere and we intend to push ir forward!

Prototype

(Prototype validation)

Validating our latest prototypewas incredibly useful. Firstly, the interactive high-fidelity prototype simulated the final product, enhancing user experience and feedback accuracy. Secondly, it guided critical design decisions by providing a realistic product representation. Lastly, it helped us improve navigation and interaction aspects thanks to our previous user feedback.

(Study Results)

Sphere is a product that has the potential to tackle the market and be placed in the hands of users that want to take care of their basic needs, their day to day activities, and the health of themselves & loved ones.

We found that a lot of users would be motivated to incorporate Sphere as their health companion in their day to day life. Many users mentioned a comparison with the movie “Her” and thought it was a really good direction to go with the product.
